Distinguished Bioengineering Seminar Series

During the 2022-2023 academic year, The University of Texas at Dallas’ Department of Bioengineering seminar series featured speakers from across the globe. Students, faculty and staff gained insight into the latest research innovations advancing biomedical engineering and health care.

Annual Spring Celebration

In spring 2023, the department hosted its second Spring Celebration in the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center. The department celebrated and recognized the accomplishments of our outstanding alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of bioengineering!

Thursday Talks

This past spring, our department collaborated with faculty members to deliver BE Tuesday Talks at 1:00 p.m. This interactive platform was designed to provide a supportive environment for students in which they could refine their presentations while building their communication skills. Those who were eager to present had the opportunity to work with a dedicated faculty coach who provided constructive feedback to help them enhance their talks and prepare for conferences.

Commencements

Fall 2022 and spring 2023 graduates celebrated their commencement ceremonies in person! This academic year, we awarded 99 Bachelor of Science, 25 Master of Science and 3 Doctor of Philosophy degrees in biomedical engineering.
