Bioengineering

During the 2022-23 academic year, the UT Dallas Department of Bioengineering leveraged our strategic initiatives as we continued towards meeting our goals in the areas of student success, research excellence and outreach and community engagement.

Our students at all levels continued to thrive both inside the classroom and the laboratory. Students presented their research at multiple conferences throughout the year. We welcomed two additional faculty to the department, whom you will meet in this report.

Faculty excellence was recognized from the international stage to the university level for its impact on research and teaching. We ended the academic year with our Second Annual Spring Celebration, where we joined with alumni, friends, administrators, faculty, staff and students to recognize achievements.
